BOINC Games

The server is hosted in a datacenter located on the Northwest portion of North Carolina. This area was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene which took out lots of infrastructure including networking/communications and power. While the datacenter does have backup generators in the event of a power outage, they can't do much when all of their network connections to the Internet are taken offline. So the datacenter wasn't accessible from the outside until those connections were restored.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Also glad that it was restored before the end of this quarter so anyone trying to get last minute points can still do so.
